| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
The Oracle Partner Network (OPN) is a program that delivers benefits to over 20,000 Oracle Partners worldwide. The goal of the program is to enable partners to develop, sell and influence the sales of Oracle Software. One set of those benefits is Education: online product, sales and implementation training, access to in class training, local events, and special partner training offerings. Those resources are accessed via the OPN Portal (
Currently based in Romania the OPN Competency Center Enablement Team is responsible for maintaining and delivering the education content to the partners via the OPN Portal. This team collects, builds, and identifies content that needs to be produced and ensures that the right Oracle resources are making it. The team also maintains the web site pages related to Oracle products, specific partner pages and business initiatives, including content gathering, uploading content to the site, and ensuring the communication of the content availability.
The role of this project manager will be to manage resources in our consulting division to ensure that they create and deliver the project on time and within budget. This project concerns the development of Training curriculum.
The role will report to the director of Partner Enablement who is based in the USA, but project managers are based in Romania.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establish a project plan (Ms Projects) and update with actuals and forecasts
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project
- Manage project budget, and monitor spending
- Direct, motivate and manage people resources in several countries (from 4-10)
- Establish clear responsibility for each task in the project
- Document, obtain approval and track all changes in project parameters
- Manage relationships between global and regional divisions of the company to achieve goals
- Report regularly on the progress of each step of the project
- Facilitate communication on the project and to all involved
- Ensure quality of the project, at each step
- Escalate any issues to mitigate risk
- Prepare for quality assurance reviews upon project phase completion
| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree
- Project management training or certification
- Experience as a project manager or similar job
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and set goals to meet them
- Strong communication and validation abilities
- Excellent language skills: Fluent English, other languages a plus
- Must be able to multi-task, share job responsibilities with other team members.
- Computer software knowledge: Excel, MS Projects
- Understanding of Computer education field a plus
