PR Specialist

Cerinte:


Professional with minimum 1-2 years PR experience on the Romanian market. IT/Telco industry experience or journalistic background is preferred and will be a key advantage.
Economic, technical or communications degree.
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
Strong affinity towards technology topics.
Sound knowledge of English.
Ability to work as part of a country and regional team.
Ability and willingness to learn more about the technology industry, Oracle’s products and services, it’s global and local business strategy and competition landscape.
The ability to exercise discretion when presented with sensitive information or confidential issues

Descrierea postului:


Advance Oracle’s business in Romania by establishing Oracle’s brand and reputation as the most successful and trusted, global provider of enterprise software and services through the tools of public relations.

Execute Oracle Romania’s PR plans reporting to and gaining advise from Oracle PR manager and work closely with local management
Maintain strong working relationships with Oracle's most influential media, serve as a contact point for enquires
Prepare translations of global press releases
Actively search for and propose local topics, successes to be used in communications
Develop local press releases
Distribute and follow-up press releases to local media
Manage the organisation of local press events (including invitation, follow-up, logistics, preparation of press pack in local language)
Support the organisation of press trips of local journalist to international press events
Identify and report negative news on our business that may result from unforeseen internal or external events
Provide input to weekly and quarterly reportings based on media monitoring data
