| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Supports the development and delivery of applications demos for the global Small and Medium Business (SMB) Applications Partner/Reseller community. Ensures competitive differentiation, exploiting Oracle’s cutting edge applications product lines (E-Business Suite, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Siebel). Provides field Alliances & Channels and Partner presales teams with timely and appropriate presales support throughout an opportunity.
SCOPE:
- Reports to Manager, Partner Demo Services, SMB Global Business Unit
- No direct reports
- Works in a virtual applications demo support group
- Contributes to the achievement of global SMB apps license targets
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and develop partner demo competencies in sales, presales and product demonstrations for Oracle eBusiness Suite, JDE EnterpriseOne, and SIEBEL On-Demand—supporting partner sales teams as required
Ensuring collaboration with all field Alliance & Channel teams
Maintaining in depth and up to date knowledge of relevant business drivers & typical customer needs
Keeping a strategic overview of Oracle’s applications understanding the key strengths and competitive differentiators
Maintaining in depth and up to date knowledge of applications—latest releases and industry content
Actively developing product expertise – attending adequate product trainings, reading relevant collateral, analyst reports, white papers, competitive documents etc.
Understanding and using Oracle’s sales methodologies and tools
Working closely with Partner Presales in virtual teams throughout the sales cycle to ensure product selection
Creating and delivering customer demonstrations that articulate Oracle’s value to the customer over the web
Contributing to responses to RFI’s and RFP’s
Training the Partner Presales teams to deliver credible demos
Building and maintaining effective relationships with Field Presales throughout a sales cycle
Working with virtual teams across EMEA, US and APAC
