RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consulting delivery services both as an individual and as a team member.
Provide Oracle customers with assistance on:
Oracle Application Server Installs
Oracle Application Server Configuration Health-check
Oracle Application Server Performance Tuning
Oracle Application Server Architectural Planning
Assist Oracle customers in solving technical issues related to Oracle Application Server
Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new product releases
Operating within Oracle business proceses and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer Science or related area degree
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivated and resourceful
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly
Good knowledge of Application Server concepts and technologies
Good knowledge of the underlying internet technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, etc)
Good knowledge of operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows, etc.) Good Java programming knowledge like JSP, Servlet, OC4J, Web Service and EJB
Technical understanding of associated iAS technologies including: HTTP Server, OC4J, Enterprise - Manager, Networking, Portal, Identity Management
Technical understanding of Oracle Internet Directory
Basic understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL /PL-SQL
Able to define technical architecture and hardware requirements for Oracle Application Server
