CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience with Oracle DBA & Oracle Applications DBA activities
- Support of large production systems with 300+ users on a 24x7 basis
- Strong performance monitoring/tuning experience
- Oracle Applications System Administration experience and in-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications Utilities
- Strong Oracle database 9i – 10g administration skills
- Experience with the setup and maintenance of RAC and Dataguard
- Oracle database upgrade experience
- Oracle applications upgrade experience
- Strong UNIX & Linux systems administration experience
- Oracle applications systems administration experience (printer setup, user/security, workflow mailer etc.)
- Discoverer setup and admnistration
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
Ability to communicate with management and other project team
Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough testing
Overall analytical skills and ability to pickup new technical skills quickly
Ability to work as a part of the team, communicate effectively, and transition activities between team members.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oracle DBA and Oracle Applications DBA activities including:
- Installing/configuring Oracle databases
- Installing/configuring Oracle applications environments including Apache Web Server/Jserver, 9iAS and other components of the tech stack required to make the applciations function
- Database and application patching
- Database and application performance monitoring/tuning
- Environment cloning
- Production monitoring/issue resolution.
- Upgrading Oracle databases to newer versions (e.g. 8i to 9i to 10g)
- Upgrading Oracle applications environments (e.g. 10.7 to 11i)
- Unix systems administration & monitoring
- Communicate project status and manage customer relationships
- Manage quality/conitnuous improvement processes & deliverables
- Participate in pager rotation for offhours 24x7 support
- Multi-task and manage multiple projects
- Communicate project status and manage customer relationships
- Mentoring of junior team members
