Open Source Software Clearing Specialist

You are the perfect candidate for this position if:
• you have a university degree in a relevant field;
• you have very good English language skills;
• you are familiar with Microsoft Office;
• you pay attention to details and have the sense of responsibility;
• you have good analytical skills;
• you like working in a team but can work independently too;
• you can easily communicate with the people you work with;
• you have German language skills, which is considered an advantage;
• you know what open source software is, which is an advantage;
• you know the difference between source code, archives, .jar’s and binaries, which is considered an advantage;
• legal terms are not foreign language to you, which is considered an advantage.

This job will get you busy with analyzing open source license texts and identifying the obligations for the usage of the components.
You will search the internet for related patent or other legal issues.
You will write clearing reports and provide support for our costumer.
