| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Master level in connection with at least two of the following topics :
• Hydrology and hydraulics
• Geography and land settlement
• Environnement
• Mapping and GIS (as a user)
The required abilities for the candidate are as follows :
• Languages : Romanian (mother-tongue), English + French if possible
• Dynamism and high motivation
• Autonomy, smartness and resourcefulness in difficult situations
• Ability in team works and reporting techniques
• Critical and synthesis attitude
• Availability
• Computer : internet, WORD, EXCEL, GIS (as a user)
• Rigour, strictness and abilities to produce concise and clear short documents
• Driving licence

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
• Information and flood-related data collection
• Collection of data and maps about hydraulic works and infrastructures
• On-the-field enquiries within flood-prone areas about flood events, soil occupation and vulnerability
• Participation to the first data treatment
• Participation to the processing of data for hydrological and hydraulic modelling
• Participation to the processing of maps on GIS
• Participation to Environmental Impact Assessment studies
• Participation to technical sheets writing down
• Participation to information and educational documents
According to the ability of the candidate, the assignment will start from mid-January 2008 for 3 to 8 months |
