| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Master level in connection with at least 10 years of relevant experience for the project, including significant references as flood management expert in Romania
The required abilities for the candidate are as follows :
• Languages : Romanian (mother-tongue), English (fluency) + French if possible
• Autonomy, smartness and resourcefulness in difficult situations
• Ability in team works and reporting techniques
• Critical and synthesis attitude
• Computer : internet, WORD, EXCEL, GIS, hydrology and hydraulics modelling
• Rigour, strictness and abilities to produce concise and clear short documents
• Very good knowledge of Romanian authorities and organizations, of flood-defence structures and of flood issues in Romania

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Under the European funded project "Flood Risk Management strategy", the responsabilities will be:
• Management of a team in charge with data and information collection in all flood- and defence-concerned authorities In Romania
• Participation to the elaboration of a Master Plan for the implementation of a Romanian national strategy for flood management
• Participation to the preparation of Master Plan for flood management on three pilot valleys in Romania
The previewed period of the assignment will be from mid-January until November 2008, for a total duration of 5 to 10 months according to abilities |
