Survey Research Manager

Key skills:
1. A Bachelor’s degree, and ideally a Master’s degree in a relevant social science field, including a statistics component
2. At least 5-7 years of professional practical experience working with sample surveys and large volumes of complex data
3. Excellent knowledge and understanding of quantitative survey research methods and data analysis
4. Deep appreciation of the survey research process from project planning through fieldwork to DP and analysis
5. A passion for delivering high quality research data to clients.
6. Strong experience of working with SPSS and similar data analysis packages
7. First-rate interpersonal skills and the ability to represent and promote our company dynamically to its research clients
8. Demonstrably high levels of organizational, teamwork, project and time management skills
9. Proven staff mentoring skills and a real interest in helping staff develop their research talents
10. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and oral form in English
11. Ability to work with a wide range of clients and subcontractors from a wide range of cultures, countries and environments.
12. Experience of the challenges of assuring high quality data from internationally sourced research
13. Interest in, knowledge of and preferably experience in transitional and developing societies
14. Willingness to travel internationally, as required

Our company, a market research, evaluation and consulting firm specializing in the field of statistics, is seeking an experienced Survey Research Manager (SRM) to provide leadership and direction within the company across the full range of its international survey research activities. Working with a team of around 20 research staff and reporting to the Director of Research, the SRM will have primary responsibility for assuring quality control and data integrity, the smooth running of DP activities, the promotion of high standards of quantitative research through staff recruitment, training and development, and the development and maintenance of manuals and procedures. You will actively develop Project\'s survey research profile with stakeholders and staff, and advise management on survey research issues.
