Network Administrator/ Security Responsible

- Create security policy, plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users;
- Understand advanced security protocols and standards;
- Ensures every employee manages the password correctly and respects the security policy by monthly security informational meetings and by security training for the new employees; promotes security awareness to ensure system security and to improve server and network efficiency;
- Perform risk assessments and execute tests of data processing system to ensure functioning of data processing activities and security measures.
- Encrypt data transmissions and erect firewalls to conceal confidential information as it is being transmitted and to keep out tainted digital transfers.
- Document computer security and emergency measures policies, procedures, and tests
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request;
- Perform regular backups and restore on the system in case of information loose;
- Manage user passwords for accounts;
- Manage ISO security certification aspects and implementation;
- Prepares the disaster recovery plan;
- Look after all the IT equipment (laptops, desktops, displays, mouse, routers, TV, printer, public server, phones), perform daily maintainance on this equipment;
- Evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software;
- Communicate with the internet provider, telephone provider;
- Keep Files on every equipment, and its technical specifications;
- Perform software and application installation, and upgrades and keep track of it;
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network;
- Document network problems and resolutions for future reference;
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. - - Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies;
- Email maintenance and creation.
- Manage the server park:
o Daily morning overview on the servers monitoring system;
o Daily overview on the status of the servers to ensure a proper availability;
o Weekly speed test on each server;
o Monthly report on the traffic evolution;
- Communicate with the server administrator about the servers installation, maintenance, overview, changes, traffic ;
- Ensure a proper traffic balance on the traffic servers;
