SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT) – code NSHI 56

Specific requirements for the job:
• HTS education in Naval Engineering;
• Knowledge and experience in vessel repair and inspection;
• Knowledge of naval/maritime rules and regulations;
• Knowledge and experience in project management;
• More than 5 years relevant experience in similar position;


General requirements:
- Good communication skills in English. Spanish is an advantage;
- Basic computer skills;
- Flexible;
- Able to deal with stress situations;

Objective of the function:
End responsible for vessel repair projects, from quotation till evaluation. Monitors project budget, project planning, and execution of project tasks in production departments. The Senior Project Manager escalates possible bottlenecks timely and effectively. Informs and consults clients on a regular basis.


Responsibilities:
• To supervise the preparation/control of quotation and planning, based on inquiry information;
• To instruct/advise the Project Coordinator regarding the preparation of quotations for additional jobs requested, setting the time requirements to execute them;
• To head the Project Team;
• To coordinate meetings with the client and vessel staff to clarify/inform about the project, and yard regulations. To inspect the work at vessel arrival.
