OPERATIONS (PROJECTS) MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS (Professional, Technical, Academic):
Essential:
Must possess a good level of general education to at least 'ordinary' standard grades, preferably 'higher'. Further education engineering qualifications to 'ordinary national' standard, preferably 'higher national' grade.
Bilingual English & Romanian Language

EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Essential:
Must have:
- At least 10 years relevant experience in oilfield completions operations.
- Have a broad-based knowledge of completion and Artificial Lift Systems equipment
- Have excellent communications skills.
- Have good keyboard and computer skills.
- Have the ability to understand technical documentation; reports, drawings, etc.
- Time, project and personnel management skills.
- The ability to liase and communicate effectively with customers and senior management.

To manage the Romanian operation resources for all completions product lines, maintain associated paperwork in-line with Control Power Sections and Client Company policies, procedures and systems, statutory regulations and good industry practice. The Operations Manager is responsible for all operational activities. The role is measured by the accurate fulfillment of job specific processes, as well as the safe and efficient utilization of personnel and equipment.

KEY ACTIVITIES:
The role of the job is to act as "team leader" for Completion workshop operations, carrying out the following:

- Manage operational resources in accordance with current workload and upcoming job requirements.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Control Power Sections quality management system.
- Provide direction and assistance for all operations personnel as and when necessary.
- Ensure that equipment stocks and personnel resources are organised to support operational requirements.
- Maintain a professional demeanour and attitude;
- Providing Company management with 24-hour contact/availability for Control Power Sections operations, as and when required.
- Ensuring that product familiarity is maintained as new products are introduced.
- Undertake and provide training to an acceptable level through hands on and utilizing a training centre.
