CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
NEDCON SHIPPING is recruiting for a jack up mobile offshore installation currently fitted out with accommodation, workshop, office and stores on deck.
We will (in turn) moor alongside 7 of BP’s installations over 9 month period from August 2007 until November 2008 with 5 month lay off period between October 2007 to March 2008.
The lay off period is due to bad weather when work can not take place.
Therefore the contract will be split in 2 phases August to November 2007 and March to November 2008.
All contract crew will be laid off during August 2007 to March 2008.
The rotation will be 2 weeks on 2 weeks field break.

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Stand in OIM to cover when our own OIM is on field break;
Will be legally responsible under the HSAW act;
Should be experienced supervisor in production or marine field;
Able to act as incident controller during emergency drills;
Muster drills;
Abandonment exercises;
Able to chair and report on safety meetings;
Attend meetings and liaise with client to report daily;
Handle the day to day running of the installation including routine maintenance and break down;
Have overall responsibility of supervision for whole crew including catering.
