Experienced Senior Lawyer

Degree from a reputable law school;
Experienced legal practitioner (min. 8-10 years);
Member of Bar (mandatory), good command of English language and solid reporting skills are a must.
Strong knowledge of: Commercial (Lg. 31/1990), General Corporate and at least basic knowledge of Capital Markets (Lg. 297/2004), Mergers & Acquisitions.

It is a real advantage previous experience within a similar Investment Found or in an international environment. You must possess expertise in local and cross border jurisdictional transactions.

The candidate selected to join our team will report directly to the General Manager, in a friendly environment with a high international exposure. Our colleague will:

*Provide legal advice and counsel within area of expertise to functional or operational area managers to ensure that their current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
*Review legal analyses and make recommendations to senior management on how to respond to legal issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations.
*Review and approve legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, employment contracts) to protect the organisation's legal and business interests.
*Represent the organisation in complex, controversial, significant, or specialised legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organisation's interests are protected.
*Analyses and identifies facts / situations potentially generating litigations and acts in order to eliminate them or to reduce the possibility of producing them.
*Participates in negotiations if needed.
*Collaborates with external low firms (if the case), following up all issues and dead lines.
