Senior Java/J2ME Game Developer

6+ years Java/J2ME experience game developer who will work closely with other engineers to create a game-related or graphical demo in either Java or J2ME and assume involvement in designing APIs incorporating public shared libraries for developing games. Proven track record of ability to develop C++ and Java/J2ME applications in an inter-disciplinary team is a must. The successful candidate will also develop new tools to facilitate development and testing of games as well as support external developers/clients. S/he will have to develop over time a good understanding of the mobile devices and assessment of synergies between handsets/consoles to minimize porting effort.

Experience in developing games or game frameworks is a significant advantage. Experience in application development, GUI, memory management, threading, and networking is a plus. Games design knowledge or interest but also an ability to quickly learn new technologies is desired.

Willingness and aptitude to work through English language required.
