CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering;
• A minimum of 4 years experience in motor control algorithms (field oriented control, brushless DC, stepper motor, power electronics etc);
• Knowledge of motor types (dc, acim, bldc, pmsm, SR, stepper)
• Experience in implementing the main control techniques (V/f, Field Oriented Control, Space Vector Modulation, bemf based);
• Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing and control theory;
• Prior experience with ANSI C coding for microcontrollers or DSPs is required;
• Familiarity with assembly coding;
• Basic knowledge of adaptation circuitry used for motor control schemes;
• Basic knowledge of SMPS and inverters principles;
• Knowledge of related Matlab-Simulink schemes would be a plus;
• Must have good oral and written communication skills in English;


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

Develop applications and support customers by using Microchip 16/32 bits products portfolio, mainly in the area of Motor Control and/or Power Conversion applications. Responsibilities include development of product collateral, software demonstrations, trainings, and customer application support.

Reporting to the Application Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Create application notes, user documentation, and demonstration software that helps customer product development;
• Implement control scheme for AC motors using Microchip 16/32 bits family of products;
• Work with customers to design and develop applications for Microchip 16/32 bits family of products;
• Build adaptation circuits used for motor control schemes;
• Travel to meet with customers, make technical presentations and provide technical support;
• Develop and present training material for Microchip customers and field engineers;
