For the Technical Support Centre Romania, Microsoft is hiring Platform Technical Engineer located in Bucharest. The centre will provide advanced technical services and support for Microsofts customers across Europe.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years strong design, administration and/or support experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005) preferably in a Support Organization or a Large Enterprise
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server concepts like:
Relational Databases, Disaster recovery, Query writing & performance, Clustering & HA environment, OLAP & MDX, Replication & Mobility, performance tuning and hardware design, Reporting Services, migrations, Heterogeneous Database environment, and OLEDB & ADO.NET Development.
Good knowledge of Relational Databases administration and TCP/IP Networking
Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Reporting Services and Backup solutions, will be a plus
Strong knowledge of English and German (verbal and written) its a must;
