TECHNICAL ENGINEER - MS PROJECT

For the Technical Support Centre Romania, Microsoft is looking for a Technical Engineer- MS Project located in Bucharest. The centre will provide advanced technical services and support for Microsoft’s customers across Europe.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Confirmed support experience in an IT environment
• Communication skills in international environment - Fluency in English; 2nd language competency in German or French is mandatory
• Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of the HTTP/HTML, Scripting with VB, Java
• Web Server knowledge, IIS6 or other Web Applications
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Infrastructure)
• Operating system (Windows XP, 2003; NLB, DNS, Networking, Protocols, Domain – MCSE2000/2003)
• Project Management Theory
• Database know how (MS SQL2000/2005; Analysis Services 2000/2005; MSDE, WMSDE, SQL Expression; SQL Embedded)
• Project Professional/Standard 2003/2007, Project Server 2003/2007, Project Portfolio Server 2007 (advantage)
• Window SharePoint Services version 2 and version 3 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007(advantage)
• Programming skills e.g. C#; ASP.NET or other programming background would a beneficial extra qualification

• Using broad and in-depth product knowledge provide and facilitate the responsive delivery of technical solutions and information to major customers;
• Provide solutions to complex problems that satisfy our French/German speaking customer base. This involves dealing with difficult situations including complaint handling, sensitive customers and mission critical support;
• Build customer and partner loyalty through customer orientation, responsiveness and accountability;
• Work in an international environment and collaborate with your team to provide high-level support;
