CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1) Essential Experience
• Some evidence of proven track record- developing solutions around .Net technologies and Microsoft products
• Experience being part of a variety of Development teams
• Experience of providing development consultancy/support to external clients.
• Experience of participating in complex development projects, in particular
• Experience in requirements gathering, design and QA (reviews, acceptance, testing methodologies)
o ConsultingServices experience with a track record of successes
o IT experience in Microsoft technologies
• A bonus would be Enterprise Customer experience

2) Technical /Functional Skills
• Developer background with Microsoft certification preferred
• Technically astute with technical depth and breadth in more than one area
• Working knowledge of security concepts
• Working knowledge of documentation technical writing (customer & business oriented documentation)
• A record of Microsoft platform and developer level expertise with some in-depth knowledge and working knowledge of one or more of Microsoft’s enterprise products and supporting technologies - C++, C#, MS Dev life cycle, VSTS (Visual Studio Team Services), MSF (Microsoft Solution Framework), .Net Framework, SQL Server, BizTalk Server, MS SharePoint Services, WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), CSF (Connected Services Framework)

RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

ROLE PURPOSE

The role is part of a team of Microsoft Consultants working in often technically complex scenarios. It will involve interfacing with other project team members, building solutions based on Microsoft’s enterprise products and other supporting technologies.

It requires the ability to occasionally operate in complex technical or political environments where limited / no assistance may be available. Up to date development skills in .NET and related technologies is must as well as working knowledge of at least one SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) methodology.

Experience in Microsoft technologies including MOSS, Silverlight, Biztalk, SQL Server and many others would be a huge advantage. You will be expected to contribute to the wider Microsoft Community through the creation of best practices and IP generation.
You will need a strong passion for technology and a desire to be a part of a team building applications and solutions for a variety of customers.

This role may involve working on long term projects, proof of concepts, and consulting engagements either in Microsoft premises or at the customer site. You must be willing to travel when required.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Be a team member of the most diverse and complex scope of consulting engagements.
• Act as technical or business resource for broad and complex issues, and often assigned to strategic accounts.
• Provide advice and guidance to customers and other consultants where appropriate.
• Efficiently and creatively perform complex consulting engagements on a frequent basis.
• Strategically analyze the risks, benefits, and opportunities of various solutions as needed.
• Maintain and build strong partner relationships.
• Manage ad hoc customer incidents very effectively.
• Perform Technical Troubleshooting to high and low level.
• Provide to the customer services and solutions that effectively leverage MS business, products, programs and services into a number of complex customer environments.
• Conduct high and low level reviews of designs against known Microsoft common practice.
• Sharing Microsoft best practice, exploring requirements and increasing the knowledge of the customer team.
• Ensuring that the Microsoft elements of the platform solution are designed in line with current best practice and will deliver a scalable, secure and high availability platform which meets the known requirements.
• Provide technological “best practice” input to both MS communities and Microsoft.
