Product / Validation Engineer

- Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering.
- Should have min. 3 years experience in testing analog integrated circuits using specific equipment.
- Good knowledge of Labview or similar tool used in test automation
- PCB design skills
- Should have good knowledge of English and good communication skills.

- Take data on new products using meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, impedance analyzers, etc.
- Using PCAD do board layout for engineering fixtures and test hardware.
- Written reports and communication.
- Automated test development; in the future we would like to develop an automated test capable of collecting data at high current for datasheet char graphs. This would include labview, software and system level experience.
- Switching power supply experience would be helpful; power mgt experience (battery chargers, LDO’s, charge pumps) would also be helpful.
- The ability to crunch data and be able to do some sort of analysis on it (mean, standard deviation, cpk)

Candidates with higher experience will be eligible for Senior and Principal Engineers positions.

Microchip opened the R&D Center located in Bucharest in April 2006 and has been constantly expanding it.
The center deals with new product design and applications development for microcontrollers, analog and memory circuits.
