| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering.
Experience of motor control algorithms (e.g. field oriented control, brushless DC, stepper motor or power electronics etc)
Prior experience with C and assembly coding for microcontrollers or DSPs is required.
Some worldwide travel will be required to meet with Microchip customers.
English; must have good oral and written communication skills.
Depending on experience, candidates will be eligible for Senior or Principal Design Engineers positions. | RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Develop applications and support customers by using PIC24H, dsPIC33F, and dsPIC30F Microchip products in the area of Motor Control and/or Power Conversion applications. Responsibilities include development of product collateral, software demonstrations, training, and customer application support.
Essential Functions:
- Develop key products and solutions in support of key customer accounts
- Create application notes, getting started documents, and demonstration software that helps customer product development.
- Work with customers to design and develop PIC24H, dsPIC30F and dsPIC33F applications
- Travel to meet with customers, make technical presentations, and provide technical support.
- Develop and present training material for Microchip Field Engineers and Microchip customers.
