PR and Communications Officer

The successful candidate will:
*Be educated to degree level (or equivalent)
*Have Practical experience of working in PR and communications, in particular stakeholder relations
*Have strong writing skills with experience of producing publications
*Have experience in writing news releases and event management is desirable
*Have had some exposure to public affairs work, Town & Country planning processes and environmental issues would be beneficial, but is not essential
*Have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business across all mediums
*Have been a proven team-worker with the ability to work equally as well on their own remotely and as part of a big team
*Have proved creativity in the area of PR & Communications
*Have good presentation skills
*Have proven Project Management skills
*Have a full, clean driving license
*Be nationally mobile with a the ability to stay away on business on a regular basis

Working with the project team you will be required to deliver open communications programmes.

Other responsibilities include:
*Production of internal and external newsletters
*Developing and implementing proactive news release programme
*Working on responses to media enquiries
*Health & Safety communications for both internal team and contractors
*Developing communications strategies for both local and national activities
