Site Service Engineer

Requirements for the candidate:
-Must be an Engineer at either college or university level
-Technical background: must understand layout of process/manufacturing plant, installation of equipment & machinery.
-Must be able to service, carry out maintenance and repair of equipment and solve problems on site.
- Must have excellent communication skills (communication with various subcontractors, installation workers; and also be able to report progress to Site/Project Manager in the UK )
- English, German would also be an advantage as may be required to act as a translator
-Physically fit and able: position will require walking, climbing, etc

Overall Objectives

1.1 Actively promote products and services to generate profitable business to meet company targets for that site.
1.2 Provide effective servicing, maintenance and repair of customer’s equipment, elements of installation, modification or commissioning may also be required.
1.3 Provide all relevant documentation throughout the servicing period and at completion of work to comply with company procedures and work instructions.
1.3 Customers may require support very urgently, which may mean working under pressure to meet tight deadlines or being called out to get equipment into operation. A flexible approach to working time may often be required.
1.4 Promote a positive company image. It is essential to dress and act in a responsible manner, as customer contact is a prime function.
