CANDIDATUL IDEAL:

The successful candidate:

Has a MD degree and a strong medical knowledge
Is a Medical Practitioner with at least 5 years of clinical experience in oncology
Is fluent in spoken and written English
Possesses an understanding of regulatory guidelines for adverse reporting
Has strong relationship-building, communication & presentation skills
Experience within clinical trials or pharmaceutical medicine will be considered as a significant advantage


RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:

The Medical Director will be responsible for providing medical support and medical advice within the PPD Pharmacovigilance services.
He/she may be based in our offices in Bucharest or Cluj-Napoca, Romania or may relocate in Sofia, Bulgaria.

RESPONSIBILITES:
• Provide study and program-specific medical monitoring and review services
- Managing of all medical aspects of contracted tasks. This includes, but is not restricted to, the monitoring of all safety variables. Discussion with principal investigators and clients of all medical concerns raised during the course of a study by using proper medical judgment, interpretation and decision.
- Analysis and assessment of safety data to identify and manage emerging safety signals.
- Medical review of serious adverse events and clinical outcomes events reported by study sites.
• Assist in business development
- Present PPD standard medical processes to clients at business development meetings, investigator meetings, and communicate with various medical communities to explore and expand PPD business.
• Participate in training of project teams
- Provide medical consultation to team members and answer all study related medical questions. Communicate clearly with associates and clients, maintaining and open line of communication to ensure all procedures are followed appropriately. Provide therapeutic training and protocol training on assigned studies, as requested.
• Write, review and approve reports, regulatory submissions and protocols to ensure that the medical content is accurate and complete.
