MECHANICAL ENGINEER

- Bachelor’s or Master degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
- minimum 3 years experience within Mechanical Engineering
- experience with some of the complex materials as seals, advanced plastics, ceramics, elastomers
- experience in preparation and interpretation of mechanical drawings for design and manufacturing
- handle mechanical and engineering design tools like Solid Edge, Inventor (not restricted to these)
- experience within the international standard regulations for mechanical design
- experience in handle PDM systems like Teamcenter, SAP, IFS or similar
- knowledge about oil and gas related standards.

- support selection of sound mechanical solutions for the development projects and engineering change activities
- support development projects with material/ component knowledge or usage such as ceramics, plastics, elastomers and advanced seals
- handle 3D design and assemblies with division design tools
- make and handle engineering documents in TCE such as PSE structures, drawings, technical documents according to target dates in each specific development project
- check that documents are in compliance with relevant international-, project specific- and internal division standards
- support division sales department if special design is to be introduced due to new demands or new environment for our products
- serve as a mechanical design advisor to the project throughout the project-phase and make recommendations where necessary
- participate in evaluation and selection of sub-suppliers related to specific materials
- support application engineering, delivery engineering and manufacturing engineering in specific task related to product implementation and sales.
