MECHANICAL ENGINEER ( Timisoara)

Good knowledge of mechanical engineering design process and methods in automotive industry;
Solid experience in electronic control unit development or instrument cluster development;
Advanced solid modeling and drafting in Catia V5 (surface modeling, part and assembly);
Good knowledge of mechanical component manufacturing technologies, particularly injection molding;
Very good engineering materials knowledge (plastic and metals);
Availability for traveling;
Good presentation preparation and delivery skills;
SolidWorks and CatiaV4 experience;
Experience of automotive test and validation requirements (mechanical and environmental testing);
Experience with mold flow and light simulation tools;
Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques;
Understanding of electronics hardware design;
German, French or Japanese would be a bonus.

Mechanical design and development of Instrument clusters and electronic control units
- Analysis of customer requirements
- 3D concept parts and assembly models using Catia V5
- Ensure product design is suitable for manufacturing and assembly.
- Participate in DFMEA activities
- Preparation and documentation (drawings) of mechanical concept
- Organize and manage CAD data
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, manufacturing engineering, hardware and software design departments
- Preparation and presentation of mechanical concepts to colleagues and customers.
