Electro / Mechanical Engineer

- Qualified Mechanical engineer
- Experience with Mechanical Engineering
- Experienced in Design and Build contracts
- Familiar with local construction regulations and building codes
- Good communication and reporting skills in English language

- Work with Design Engineering Company
- Participate in design reviews on a weekly basis. Ensure constructability process is applied
- Work with the Construction Manager and Technical Engineering for quality assurance and quality control
- Be involved in a daily follow-up meeting on construction progress and ensure contractors allocate appropriate resources
- Be involved in the weekly meeting with Designer and Contractor to co-ordinate state of design, construction and procurement
- Lead setting up of clear QA site procedures
- Ensure agreed procedures are strictly followed
- Hold daily meetings with contractor to identify critical issues and agree immediate remedial actions
- Support the Construction Manager and Construction Safety Engineer to ensure that the Safety Management Program is followed
- Support Project Manager and Construction Manager in managing scope changes
- Monitor contractor deviations from specs
- Technically validate scope changes proposed by contractor
- Support the Construction Safety Engineer
