Civil Engineer

- Qualified Civil/Structural engineer
- xperience with Civil / Structural Construction Engineering
- Experience in dealing with Quantity Surveying Methods
- Experience in managing Design and Build contracts
- Familiar with local construction regulations and building codes
- Good communication and reporting skills in English language

- Work with Design Engineering Company and liaise with Civil / Structural Engineering to get timely technical concurrence for design
- Participate in design reviews on a weekly basis Ensure constructability process is applied
- Work with the Construction Manager and Civil / Structural Engineering for quality assurance and quality control
- Be involved in the weekly formal review meeting with Designer and Contractor to co-ordinate state of design, construction and procurement
- Define stretch / optimum CPS, align contractor, project team and operations and deliver against the plan
- Lead setting up of clear QA site procedures
- Ensure agreed procedures are strictly followed
- Hold daily and weekly meetings to identify critical issues and agree immediate remedial actions
- Ensure that the Safety Management Program is followed
- Cost control on a daily and weekly basis
- Support Project Manager and Construction Manager in managing scope changes
- Monitor contractor deviations from specifications
- Follow change management procedure
- Support the Construction Safety Engineer
