ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

-University degree in Economics, ACCA would be an advantage
-Minimum 4 years experience in accounting field, out of which 2 years in a multinational company
-Excellent knowledge of accounting principles - certified accountant is a must
-Very good communication and analytical skills
-Flexibility, open-minded, initiative and problem solving orientation
-Very good coaching skills
-Excellent English both spoken and written
-Very good PC knowledge
-Scala knowledge would be an advantage
-Previous involvement in system implementation is a definite plus

-Ensure that the Company’s accounting records are maintained accurately, completely and timely while using the appropriate functionalities of the systems
-Ensure the compliance with all statutory accounting legislative requirements as well as those of the company
-Support accounting department development and coordinate the accounting team in order to meet deadlines
-Keep abreast of changes in statutory tax legislation, and develop strategies based on this legislation with respect to all relevant taxation types including, Corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, local taxes, customs duties etc.
-Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly tax returns requested by the Romanian authorities
-Prepare the annual/semi-annual reports according to Romanian accounting guidelines and coordinate the activities around certification by external auditors in order to present the realistic financial state of business of the company
-Implement procedures and discuss software development for effective and reliable data collection from the locations, in order to produce at all times accurate and complete information on company's financial and economic position.
-Maintain good professional relations with the Romanian authorities
