What will you bring (qualifications):

Since we are working with the latest generation of development tools and technologies, you must be proficient in some of the following - however not necessarily in all:

- Methods: Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Use cases, Rational Unified Process or similar
- Tools: C, C#, C++, PowerBuilder, Swing, Java, PL/SQL, SCADA
- Operating Systems: Windows, Windows CE, Linux, and UNIX, .NET
- Technology / Products: RFID, Oracle, SAP, J2EE


Furthermore:

· You must have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering
· 5+ years of experience
· You must have experience working in an international environment
· You must have strong software engineering background including requirements definition, design documentation, coding, integration, debugging and object oriented analysis and design including the modeling of object hierarchies, behaviors, class structures and methods
· You must have familiarity with all software levels (drivers, operating systems, applications, middleware and GUIs) and software development life cycle
· You must be able to keep deadlines within a project plan
· You must have expertise in building highly interactive, scalable applications
· You must have good knowledge of Rational Unified Process or similar software development Methodology
· You must have good knowledge of Quality Standards ISO 9001 and Project Management models
· You will be a good troubleshooter and have creative problem solving skills
· You must demonstrate spoken and written English at a high level
· You must be a team player and have excellent communication skills
· You must be innovative, good coordinator, highly organized, autonomous, with excellent interpersonal qualities and a confident personality
· You must be self-motivated and a quick learner
· You must be willing to adapt to new tools and technologies as new coming projects require it

· You must be able to travel to Denmark and other countries for project meetings and system installation

Position Type: Software Architect with potential for Project Manager

We are looking for 2 dedicated and highly talented software architects / engineers with 5+ years of experience with software design, implementation and test.

What will you do (responsibilities):

At any given time we are running a number of projects in our Bucharest office. For example developing embedded software for high-speed sorting and conveyor systems, turn-key solutions for global food traceability systems, track & trace systems based on RFID technology among other projects.

You will be based in Bucharest with our group of innovative software engineers, to work in one of these projects transforming requirements into software design and implementation. Tasks are solved either in Bucharest or in close relationship with colleagues in Denmark.

As a software architect you will be the driver in a small team (2-3 people), where you will work on your own deliverables as well as mentoring the team on overall system architecture. You will also make sure that all software deliverables from the team are thoroughly tested, documented and delivered on time according to schedule.

· You will have the responsibility for technology design and the development and implementation of architecture that will support both existing and future business requirements
· You will have the responsibility for the sign off of technical specifications ensuring that the necessary development technologies are being used to their full advantage
· You will work with project teams to develop coherent Technical Architectures, which are aligned with the overall strategy.
· You will be required to work closely with the functional design team and other technology teams to complete the technical design reusing components wherever possible
· You will provide documentation and development estimates to feed into the overall build plan
· You will validate requirements, assessing impact on design and influencing the system design and interface definitions
· You will transform requirements into Software Design and Implementation including test
· You will understand roadmaps and customer requirements transferring them into software design
· You will be educating members in the project teams
· You will be interacting with other project teams e.g. to understand their design decisions which might have an impact on own design

For the right person with project management potential, it will be possible over time to evolve into a Project Manager. A Project Manager will manage a team with full responsibility for delivering systems components or product.
