Transportation Coordinator

At least 2-3 years experience in an operational position within an international transport company ( preferably a company that has intensive relationships with the Italian market);
Great knowledge regarding the administration of international road flux, in particular between Romania and Southern Europe, more precisely between Romania and Italy.
Very good knowledge of the Romanian transportation environment and of the transporters network;
Very good coordination skills;
Fluency in English;
Fluency in Italian would be an advantage;
PC knowledge( Word, Excel, Outlook).

For one of our clients, an international company active in the Logistics and Distribution field, we are looking for a Transportation Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

Organizing and administrating the transport operations, creating and optimizing one or various transportation systems between Romania and Italy;
Collecting and analyzing the transportation offers and closing contracts with transportation providers;
Being responsible for the transportation documentations and for the customs operations;
Optimizing the control tools and keeping track of the daily administrative tasks (board tables, statistics, performance indicators);
Analyzing the specific needs of the costumers and getting involved in defining commercial offers in compliance with those needs;
Monitoring the commercial relationships and responding to costumers demands or complaints;
Facilitating the integration of new collaborators and supervising the relationship with other parties within the logistics chain.
