CANDIDATUL IDEAL: Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be able to identify and articulate a strategic vision backed by data and critical thinking. The candidate will have the leadership to build cross-company support for that vision and the ability to execute on it. This needs to be a candidate that is clearly passionate about the large opportunity that being responsible for a high-value strategic set of assets like the Retail Business Services associates bring. As such, it demands a leader that is extremely attracted to the opportunity and is never satisfied with the results.
This leader must have a strong background in complex business processes with partnerships with retail business users as well as software developers. The candidate will have a demonstrated record of team building and execution in systems development and be able to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related discipline is required. MBA and/or advanced degree is desirable.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is most likely to come from a company involved in high volume retail product sales. Previous experience with Vendor related intranet systems as well as offshore outsourcing experience is preferred.
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII: Business Purpose of Role:
Our client procures products, for sale on its website, from thousands of vendor partners worldwide. Behind the scenes these products require effort to make them available on the website for the customers to purchase. Not only do these products require setup on the website, but these products also go through an entire supply chain lifecycle before they are available for customers to purchase. As Site Manager of Retail Business Services, you are responsible for the systems, processes, and associates that insure that these products are available for purchase by the customers as soon as the products are launched by the vendor partners. In short, you will partner with Retail and Vendors in setting up and maintaining products on our client’s website.
Retail Business Services team (RBS) is currently organized around 2 goals: website setup of new products, and resolving defects that occur in the supply chain. As a Retail Business Services Site Manager, you will be directly responsible for customer sales as a result of high quality processes associated with creation and maintenance of product lifecycle on the website.
The Site Manager of Retail Business Services will be responsible for the RBS strategy, vision and execution required to scale these business processes to meet future retail business growth. In this role you will work with retail business teams, vendors, and as well as internal software development teams to in order to lead an organization that will provide the company with the simplest, cheapest, highest scale, most reliable, and globally available business services.
Responsibilities:
Retail Business Services Strategy: Define an ambitious but achievable strategy that establishes our client‘s Retail Business Services as the premiere business services offering in the industry. This includes gathering both vendor and business owner requirements, understanding available technologies and developing a process and execution plan. You will be responsible for partnering with Retail teams and vendors across the globe.
Retail Business Services process standardization: Work with customers, partners, and engineering leadership to establish and maintain the group wide roadmap. Standardize and scale business processes to maximize shareholder value and business growth.
Retail Business Services Vision: Our client provides its customers with “The World’s largest selection of products”. To support an unprecedented volume of unique products, we also have the world’s largest concentration of retail vendor partners. You will define and execute a vision that enables growth of products and business processes required to meet the short and long term needs of the business. In addition, you will be responsible for the vision and execution of a new set of tools that automate and simplify the website product maintenance lifecycle. This groundbreaking new workflow based technology will provide our RBS associates with exactly the set of tools needed to quickly add new products to the website.
