Plant Manager Transformers / Motors

For one of our clients, one of the most important manufacturer of electrical transformers and rotative electrical machines from Eastern Europe, we are looking for a Plant Manager Transformers/Motors.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering or related field is preferred;
Minimum five years of plant management experience with P&L responsibility preferably in the electrical/electronical industry;
Technical skills in Lean Manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Process Improvement, warehousing, production planning and scheduling;
Experience with large customer contracts including direct responsibility for meeting established customer satisfaction goals;
Extensive knowledge and training in product manufacturing – preferably industrial electric components related;
Computer proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems;
Strong project management skills.

Establishes, implements and monitors compliance with manufacturing policies and procedures including planning, production, scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction/on time delivery, employee relations and performance measures;
Directs the implementation and execution of manufacturing policies, preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement practices throughout the organization;
Oversees the implementation and monitoring of manufacturing schedules, manpower and facilities/equipment requirements, quality control programs, production control standards and safety programs;
Responsible for capacity planning and works closely with sales and customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction;
Works closely with HR department on labor relations issues;
Directs and oversees the plant operating budget to ensure compliance with planned expenditures and shipments;
Prepares monthly operations reports and KPI’s and evaluates results against objectives;
Recommends and implements changes in manufacturing and facilities to meet the strategic objectives of the Company.
