Industrial Engineer in Brasov

Our client is an international company with 80 years of experience in manufacturing electrical enclosures and components for industrial, electrical and data & telecommunication markets. They are currently in the process of starting up a factory in Romania (Brasov region). The production process will mainly be of traditional sheet metal working machines (punching, presses, welding, painting, etc). Starting from a headcount of zero, within two years they expect the personnel to be approaching 200.
Together we are looking for an Industrial Engineer.

Experience of working with traditional sheet metal machines (mechanical and hydraulic presses, punching machines, welding equipment);
Min 5 years experience in an Engineering role;
Ability to understand working drawings;
Fluent in English;
All round engineering skills, Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic qualification;
Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team;
Proactive and flexible outlook – a view to get the problem solved, whatever it takes;
Computer literate – MS Office.

Working as instructed by the Engineering & Maintenance Manager;
Installing machines and services;
Ensuring that the machines and the processes are set-up correctly before and during each production run;
Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures and checks are adhered to;
Analysing production processes and flows and re-designing where necessary to develop optimum production output;
Establishing and ensuring quality procedures are adhered to;
Ensuring ERP data is accurate and up to date;
Working with machine suppliers to gain in-depth knowledge of the machines to optimise their output.
