Credit & Collection Manager

For one of our clients, a multinational company, global leader in technology and services, we are looking for a Credit & Collection Manager

Requerements:

University graduated, MBA would be a plus;
Extensive experience in financial field (finance and accounting, audit, consultancy, banking);
Previous experience in credit & collection, treasury, tax or audit field would be an advantage;
Strong leadership skills & previous people management experience;
Familiarity in leading Organizational Changes;
Previous experience in financial field in complex and large organizations;
Strategic Planning knowledge and experience;
Previous experience in managing external customer relationships;
Flexible mentality and the ability of managing managers.

Managing a team of Collection Managers supporting different geographic divisions with a large and often complex accounts receivable portfolio;
Ensuring that company’s goals and objectives in credit and accounts receivable management are met in an ethical and legal manner with a minimum of risk and expense for the company;
Acting as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall policies and long-term goals of the organization;
Realizing short and long term planning which includes functional set-up, headcount and people deployment;
Establishing internal credit and collections procedures that maximize cash flow and minimize bad debt;
Developing information related to customer risk and financial performance issues;
Identifying and resolving credit and collection problems that impact business profitability and risk;
Developing trusting, collaborative relationships with all business functions;
Planning and monitoring high-end operational/tactical activities of Staff;
Recruiting and offering supports development for direct staff members.
