Chief Accountant

University graduate (economics);
Relevant experience in accounting;
Knowledge of accounting closing procedures, local accounting requirements, financial statements;
Good knowledge of fiscal legislation;
Computer skills (MS Office);
Knowledge of SAP is a major advantage;
Good knowledge of English;
Problem-solver, proactive, organized, able to meet deadlines.

For one of our clients, a multinational company activating in automotive industry, we are looking for a Chief Accountant, based in Slatina.

Planning, organizing and controlling the accounting operations;
Coordinating the accounting activities regarding stocks, suppliers, clients, fixed assets and treasury;
Coordinating the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing operations, according to the Romanian Accounting Standards;
Releasing fiscal reports and maintaining the relationship with fiscal authorities;
Ensuring that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with the local regulations;
Issuing the official legal (RAS) balance;
Defining, developing and implementing work procedures for the organization of the accounting activity.
