Service Technician

For one of our clients, a multinational company in telecommunications field, we are looking for a Service Technician.

Job Requirements:

College degree or equivalent preferred;
Basic knowledge of telephony or GSM theory;
Basic DC electronics;
Strong knowledge of ELECTRONICS and MICROELECTRONICS field;

GSM industry experience required;
Excellent soldering skills required;
Ability to read schematics/circuit diagrams required;
Component/module repair experience preferred;
Manual dexterity and mechanical ability;


Strong computer skills preferred (Microsoft Excel, Word);
Good knowledge of English language required;
Excellent organizational/follow-up skills required;
Ability to interact independently as well as part of a team;
Problem solving skills;
Quality oriented with strong attention to details.

Ensuring the reception of all the documents requested by the internal procedures (Defective Form, Warranty Certificate, etc.);
Processing into internal database all records regarding in/out phones;
Being responsible for the reception and inventory of the stickers, labels, markers, etc.;
Solving all claims related to delays or lost parcels;
Ensuring daily accurate internal/external distribution of the phones;
Ensuring an efficient and client oriented activity;
Respecting shipment lists, delivery time enquiries, lost package enquiries;
Preparing weekly reports for all in/out handsets;
Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
