Senior Software C++ Developer

University degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems;
2+ years UNIX or IBM experience;
Strong communication skills both oral and written;
Courses in object orientated analysis and design (OOAD) and C++ - advantage;
Desire to work on challenging assignments using new technologies;
Ability to work in a team environment;
Ability to meet deadlines;
Excellent English skills, both oral and written.

For one of our clients, a multinational company with HQ in USA, provider of integrated e-payment solutions for banks, retailers and payment processors, we are looking for a Senior Software C++ Developer.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Designing, developing and testing OLTP applications written in C++;
Defining external & internal specifications for complex assignments;
Creating and reviewing assigned product/project deliverables (impact assessments, external & internal specifications, code, manuals, education material, installation material, etc.);
Creating and reviewing unit, integration, system and QA test plans/scripts;
Executing tests and analysing the results;
Providing technical input in meetings with outside organizations to discuss the technical issues of assigned projects;
Researching and resolving customer reported problems;
Providing information to keep management informed on the progress and issues relating to all assigned projects;
Coordinating the technical work of a small project team;
Planning and scheduling tasks for projects and individuals;
Providing input to the estimating process when estimating new projects or enhancements to existing systems.
