Senior Developer Java / J2EE

We require excellent programmers with extensive experience. As a minimum, you should possess:

- a university degree and at least 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-moving IT and Internet environment;
- excellent knowledge of Java programming, J2EE architecture, application servers (JBOSS, HIBERNATE), XML, SOAP, web services and development IDEs (ECLIPSE);
- proven object-oriented systems design experience, experience with layered internet architectures, web services communication and Eclipse Rich Client Platform development;
- experience with high volume and high availability platforms;
- shell programming is a plus;
- good knowledge of UNIX, Linux or BSD;
- strong proven knowledge of SQL;
- experience working with version control systems such as CVS or subversion.

Moreover, it is important that you:
- are fluent in English;
- possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities;
- have a positive "can do" attitude and the ability to get things done.

Working as part of an international team of highly experienced programmers, you will be involved in:

- designing and developing new features for the existing online communities and new products;
- redesigning and realizing data integration process of product and price data for Europe’s leading Comparison Shopping Portal;
- developing advanced back-end systems for customer management and sales process;
- programming in-house administrative and reporting tools;
- automating complex data management and data mining processes.
