Chief Accountant in production company

Minimum 2 years experience in management position;
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing company;
Solid understanding of Romanian accounting and relevant legislation;
Knowledge of IAS;
Hands on experience in accounting.

For one of our clients, an international company producing customized printed materials, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities:

Planning and organizing all financial accounting activities;
Coordinating the entire accounting department (over 15 employees);
Drawing-up reports for the Romanian fiscal authorities and for the management;
Drawing-up the monthly trial balance according to Romanian standards;
Representing the firm during fiscal control;
Budgeting for the department;
Implementing company policies & regulations;
Keep up to date with the changes in local accounting and tax legislation;
Conducting employee evaluation inside the department.
