RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
For one of our client, a multinational company who activate in science-based solutions to markets including agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, home and construction, transportation, apparel, home and textiles, we are looking for an
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST for Engineer Polymers department
Main responsibilities:
Facilitating business growth and develop a strong business position in Romania and Central Europe, by working together with the Regional Director as well as Engineering Polymers management and sales & marketing teams;
Identifying crystalline Engineering Polymer market size and competitive landscape;
Researching on distributors for Packaging and Industrial Polymers (P&IP);
Identifying key customers, the competitive situation at those customers and from there the business opportunity;
Driving growth projects into commercialization (including identifying new customers and applications);
Elaborating business plans, design and implement processes to support business growth, through customer and market need definition;
Implementing marketing strategy and execute action plan that is set, and achieve results;
Building and managing relationship with external parties including suppliers, industry associations, distributors and customers.
Requirements:
Technical University degree (mechanical engineering or similar) ideally combined with business/management education (MBA preferably);
3-5 years of experience in business development position, with proven record of implementing marketing strategy and managing key accounts;
Knowledge of Plastics (Polymers) processing or design experience is required;
Fluency in English, ideally with a good command of German too. Any other Central European language will be considered as an asset;
Excellent interpersonal skills must have the ability to build trusting relationships externally and internally;
Willingness to travel extensively;
High level of energy and dedication and strongly results oriented.
