Application Engineering Manager in Brasov

Bachelor degree in EE or CS, 5+ years of experience in application engineering or customer engineering;
Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing;
Familiarity with (Structured) ASIC market. Specifically the candidate should have experience in handling at least 1 Tier-1 ASIC/FPGA customer;
Working knowledge of FGPA/ASIC Technologies;
Experience in using Windows and Unix operating systems
FPGA/ASIC design experience: Verilog HDL/VHDL, Simulation, Synthesis, Static Timing Analysis;
Experience in using ASIC grade EDA tools.

Desirable Characteristics:

Experience in using scripting languages as PERL and Tcl
IP design experience;
Knowledge of using LVS, DRC, and Formal Verification tools;
Special attention will be given to candidates with deep understanding of FPGA and (Structured) ASIC technologies, design flows, and design tools.

Customer Support: The AE Manager will be working closely with customers worldwide to support them on technical issues. This may require collaboration with the worldwide Software and Circuit Design centers.

Management: The AE Manager will represent the local AE team during local and company wide meetings, contribute to growing the AE team’s experience and knowledge level, as well as manage the customer database.

Documentation: The AE Manager will work closely with Software and Circuit Design engineers to define and create new support documents.

Candidate must be able to communicate efficiently and manage relationships with customers, management, and engineering.
Candidate must be able to represent, coordinate, and develop other AEs. The candidate will play a key role in establishing a top-tier AE team.
