RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Responsibilities:
- lead purchasing activities for all the location(s) in order to buy spare parts, packaging, chemicals & ingredients, fuel / energy, cars / machinery, plant equipment, materials, office supplies, IT & telecom, services / maintenance
- design the procurement strategy based on: preferred suppliers, expertise per item, long term contracts, inventory management
- negotiate contracts and ensure best cost effectiveness
- analyze the markets to identify new trends and opportunities (e.g. product evolution, alternative suppliers and products, order processing methods)
- actively search for internal and external benchmarks to compare the prices of the most important product groups and to improve the purchase conditions
- optimize inventory management technical warehouses and minimize stock levels and operating costs
Requirements:
- university graduate preferably technical
- minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
- fluent English speaker
- good negotiation skills (internal customers, suppliers)
- analytical person, with strong communication skills and team spirit; leader type
- knowledge of procurement and supply chain management
- reasonable knowledge of appropriate tools used in purchasing, maintenance and inventory management
- driving licence B category
