| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
PERSONAL QUALITIES
•Educated to degree level or equivalent
•Minimum 5 years experience of managing a logistics operation
•Proven management of direct reports, including target setting & review
•Availability for short and medium-term business trips abroad
•Excellent communicator
•Excellent spoken and written English (essential attribute)
•Proven experience of budget setting and review
•Experience in a fast-moving environment
•Experience of automotive logistics preferable
•Experience dealing with foreign supply base
•Experience in export principles and requirements, with specific knowledge of local customs practices
•Proven stock management experience
•Experience of operations in a JIT (just-in-time) environment

| RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
OVERVIEW
The Logistics Manager for the Arad site is a site management team position. Reporting to the General Manager, the role has the overall responsibility for all supply chain activities for the Arad manufacturing operation. Operating in a site with 2500 personnel, the incumbent must possess the skills required to maintain LEONI’s world-class supply performance. In order to achieve this, the selected candidate must have experience of controlling a supply chain in a fast-moving environment, preferably within the automotive sector. The Logistics Manager is expected to set, agree, and meet budgeted stock and delivery targets.
The Logistics Manager will interact with other group Logistics Managers, and will be expected to participate in an environment that actively promotes continuous improvement and cost reduction.
The logistics department, in it’s various areas, constitutes over 100 personnel, who are managed through an organisational structure with the Logistics Manager at it’s head. The logistics manager is expected to motivate and monitor team performance through all levels, to maintain and improve the logistics performance. The business relies completely on the success of the logistics operation for both manufacture and delivery of LEONI’s products.

•Meeting 100% supplier delivery performance
•Maintain 100% internal material supply performance to manufacturing areas
•Maintain a stock accuracy of over 98%
•Achieve the corporate delivery performance targets, in terms of transit time and packing densities.
•Meet freight cost improvement targets
•Achieve the corporate stock targets
REPORTING RESPONSABILITIES
•Direct to the Site General Manager.
•Matrix line to the LWSUK Head of Logistics
