Finance and Operations Manager

Professional business qualification: qualified accountant.

Minimum 4 years practice in Finance area.

Understanding of local statutory and international accounting regulations/standards and fully fluent English are essential for this role.

Experience in professional services firm or service industry.

Good, strong managerial expertise.

Outstanding influencing and communications skills and proven motivational skills.

Client oriented focus (a true service provider).

Work closely with Local Senior Management to provide decision support capabilities and financial direction to the businesses within the office.

Lead the local finance function, providing management accounting and financial control (including reporting, budgeting, treasury and taxation).

Participate actively in the development and implementation of the global business strategy.

Develop business and financial information systems.

Responsible for structure design, management and coordination of the administrative department.

Operations: Responsible for structure design, management and coordination of the following:
- Management of the business service staff
- Organise and direct the day-to-day operations for the office
- Manage an effective and appropriately staffed team in the office, with relevant and appropriate qualifications, capable of providing the necessary level of service to the business
- Develop with the help of HR career structures, succession plans and qualification routes for business service staff
- Expand skills of local staff through continuing professional development
- Organising office moves
- Contact with the office suppliers
- Cost control, planning and budget compliance in the area of office operations, key supplier contact (general overview)
