PHP SENIOR PROGRAMMER

.A minimum of 2 years of intensive/effective PHP programming experience
.HTML / script interaction
.Graphical manipulation for picture uploading, resizing
.Database normalization and un-normalization to deal with high load queries dealing with object ratings.
.Used at least one PHP template technique in the past
.Minimal Java Script knowledge is required
.Minimal Web application security knowledge and experience is also required
.Experience in programming CMS (Mambo) is a plus
.Linux server administration is a plus

Clear visualization and conceptualization skills: the projects are large and being able to keep a strong mental model of how all the components fit in together is a necessity. Prior work, involving coordinating all the technical work on large projects, is a plus.

Inspirational: Able to convey and push the team to build the framework for their module, test it, and then start elaborating on the details of it.

Methodical PHP style: using a clear-cut framework to modularize, and clearly document each component of the website. Prior experience in high load sites, thus knowing how to deal with bottlenecks.

PHP Skills:

Graphics (gd lib)
Regular expressions
Templating techniques
Sockets (optional)
Xml/Html/Css
Familiarity with PHP plug-ins/features
Experience in programming CMS (Mambo) is a plus
Database skills: the database work is an integral part of the sites, in fact a very major part, which is woven deeply into the PHP. Knowing how the scripts pull and push to the database will allow the programmer to clarify his vision of how to create the design.
User Interface Adept: having read books on user interface design, he can decide how to change the layout of the interface or tweak the HTML interface with the scripts.
