CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
NEDCON MARITIME is looking to employ:
JUNIOR PROJECT PLANNER working abroad – code NMAR 60
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Have vast knowledge of Microsoft Excel and be very experienced in creating and updating spreadsheets
• Develop detailed work plans and schedules for all crafts in all aspects of ship repair and construction activities and be able to train production personnel in the interpretation and use of such
• Develop craft goals and budgets for Production Foremen and Managers
• Assist the Project Planner and Project Manager in all aspects of cost control and reporting
• Develop and produce weekly productivity reports
• Maintain schedules for the Project Team, Customers and Owners
• Interface with the Project Manager, Ship Manager, Craft Managers, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Production Foremen
• Have the ability to work numerous projects at one time and switch from one to another with minimal complications
• Work extended hours and/or weekends when the projects require support
• Have the ability to work unsupervised
Qualifications and Skills Required:
• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years proven track record using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Applicants must have as a minimum a High School diploma and minimum studies of English, Mathematics, and Chemistry or Physics or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within an industrial site or on the field in the shipyard is essential.
Good interpersonal skills are mandatory.
