| CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Requirements
Very good command of English language.
Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years experience.
A background in the application of protective relaying schemes, based on modern numerical relays, for HV transmission systems would be an advantage.
Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work.
Ability to work on own initiative and to strict deadlines.
Strong ability to prioritise with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent Communication and report writing skills.
Preferably, some experience in a utility/consulting environment would be ideal but manufacturing or contracting experience could also be relevant. |
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
Job Description
Detailed design covering all aspects of H.V. equipment (switchyard layouts, busbar arrangements, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, etc.)
Detailed design of secondary control and protection systems including auxiliary supplies, signal/alarm systems, relays, etc.
Specification/selection/procurement of the full range of equipment.
Conceptual design studies and reports
Preparation and interpretation of technical specifications and enquiry documentation
Contract administration, Construction supervision, project management

The vacancies advertised are in the High Voltage Division (Voltage Range: 10kV - 400kV), which is responsible for detailed engineering design of distribution and transmission facilities. Currently much of this work is based in Ireland.
