Recruitment criteria:

• Warm, friendly and approachable personality.
• Work experience within customer service industry such as airlines, hotels, travel and tourism represents definite advantage.
• Aged between 20 and 30 years, without airline experience.
• Female minimum height 1.60 m with weight in proportion
• Male minimum height 1.70 m with weight in proportion
• High standard of personal grooming.
• Good recognizable level of education.
• Fully medically fit.
• Good eyesight
• Fluency in both conversation and written English.
• Ability to speak a second foreign language would be advantageous.
• Valid and unrestricted passport: minimum of one- year validity eligible for residence status in Qatar .
• Non-smoking.

Employment Package:

• Basic working hours and salary.

The monthly flight hours for every flight attendant are as per the flight roster.
The basic salary is as below: ($1 = Qrs 3.65 as per current exchange rate).

• Qrs 3,000 ( 821 USD ) for flight attendants who have no previous flying experience.
The Duty Day Allowance and the Away from Base Allowance are as follows:

• The Duty Day Allowance: Qrs. 20/- per day. ( 5.47 USD )
• The Away from Base Allowance: Qrs.7 per hour ( 1.92 USD )
Flight allowance : 6,90 USD /each flight hour
Monthly rosters are provided using a computerized ‘fair share' rostering system that ensures a fair allocation of trips and an average of 8 days off per month over a quarterly period.

Monthly flying hours are around 70, with a mixture of long and short haul flying. Minimum rest at base is 11 hours.

Total monthly income approximated at: 1,314 USD

2. Employment Benefits:

a. Contract Conditions:

Open-ended employment contracts with a six-month probationary period.
After employment, you will have an intensive 7 weeks training program on all Qatar Airways aircraft types. This will include safety and emergency training, customer service, grooming and first aid.
b. Annual Leave:

Every working year, the flight attendants are allowed 30 calendar days as annual leave with full pay.
c. End of the service gratuity package:

The flight attendants are entitled to a 3 week basic salary for each full year of continuous service as per Qatar law.
d. Accommodation:

Qatar Airways will supply the flight attendants with fully furnished sharing accommodation (own bedroom) including utilities.
High quality 4 star hotel accommodation overseas and free transport between airport and hotel
Free laundry services
e. Transportation procedures:

Annual leave ticket to the home destination,
Concessional travel for the employee designated relatives
Free transport between airport and apartment in Doha
f. Uniforms: Jaeger designed uniform.

g. Insurance policy:

• You are covered under a Group Life Insurance Plan on a 24-hour worldwide basis, which covers you for QR 100,000/=36,500 USD- in case of death and has related benefits in case of Permanent Disability and Partial Disability as in the rules of the scheme.
