JAVA DEVELOPERS [USS-EF]

We are searching for dynamic and committed people with team-player capabilities and potential for learning and applying de-facto technologies in a highly demanding environment.

If you are a beginner with very good base programming skills (in Java core and web) and are capable to quickly learn new technologies you are also welcome to apply.

Programming skills:
- OOP concepts (good/very good)
- Java core knowledge (good)
- Software architecture concepts (basic understanding)
- Web concepts - basic understanding: HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of advanced web technologies (are a plus): J2EE, JSF, Struts, JSP, Ajax, XML, JDBC.


Soft skills:
- English (good)
- German (is a plus)
- highly organized
- communicative person

The job will involve working on challenging and interesting projects with a dynamic and young team.
You will travel in Europe for trainings, project meetings and requirements gathering.


You will work as part of a multinational group with true large enterprise wide systems, complex architectures, real life constrains (speed, performance, nonstop systems availability).

Within this department you will develop Java Enterprise Web Applications for the insurance concern UNIQA.

You will learn top of the line IBM and open source solutions and technologies:
- IBM Rational Application Developer
- IBM Websphere – application server
- IBM online meeting and collaboration tools
- IBM DB2 – database server solutions
- J2EE, JSF (Richfaces), Spring, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML,
